Christian Songwriters' Showcase

On the fourth Saturday of every month Artist's Work B.e.n.c.h. hosts the Christian Songwriters' Showcase in Highland. Each Showcase features several of Southern California's up-and-coming Christian songwriters, performing half-hour sets of their original material in an intimate setting.

Steve Riddle of Corona, at the November Showcase

The Showcase is held at GFE Coffee in Highland, in the Albertsons Plaza on the corner of Boulder and Baseline. The show begins at 4:30 PM and ends at 6:30 PM. Admission is free (although we do encourage you to buy drinks and snacks from GFE to thank them for their support).

Our next Showcase will be held on January 24th, 2009, and will feature Jillian Elizabeth, Justin Reid, Mark Anthony, and the Scott Gordin Band.

Melanie Krimetz of Riverside, at the October Showcase

To get to GFE from the 10 Freeway, take the 210/30 out of Redlands and exit at Baseline. Turn right and go a couple of blocks to Boulder Avenue. Turn left onto Boulder, then immediately turn right into the first driveway for Albertsons Plaza. Bear left in the parking lot and pass by Albertsons; GFE is in the strip-mall portion just past the grocery store.

To get to GFE from the 215 Freeway, take the 210/30 (south of University Avenue, in North San Bernardino) east towards Redlands. Exit at Baseline and turn left. Go to Boulder, turn left, then right into the Albertsons Plaza parking lot. Bear left and look for GFE once you pass Albertsons.

Andrew Enos and Jeremy Fogle of Wildwood Calvary in Yucaipa, at the November Showcase

For more information, or if you are interested in performing at an upcoming Showcase, contact Todd Jenkins at epistrophy@aol.com. Because of space and noise restrictions we prefer acoustic guitar or keyboard. We can accommodate up to four musicians comfortably; hand percussion only, no drum kits. Sets are half an hour in length and must consist of your own original music (this is, after all, a songwriters' event). We offer a critique service for those who want audience input on their music. Let us know your technical needs ahead of time; we aim to please. See you at the Showcase!
